Application - Senior Kolo Assistant Teacher 2026/2027

The Senior Kolo Assistant Teacher works alongside the Senior Kolo Teacher to support the instruction, organization, and development of our Senior dancers. This role helps maintain a positive, respectful, and disciplined environment while encouraging dancers to grow in their knowledge and appreciation of Croatian folklore, traditions, and culture.

Responsibilities

Assist the Senior Kolo teacher during weekly Sunday night practices, rehearsals, and additional weekend choreography practices when required.
Attend all mandatory seminar weekends throughout the kolo year.
Help teach and review kolo steps, choreography, formations, styling, and technique.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate offered.

Communications

For group communication Sljeme uses email, WhatsApp and TeamSnap. Email is used for important group announcements. WhatsApp is used for general communications. TeamSnap is used for scheduling and attendance. Please download both applications to your phone. Invitations to join the WhatsApp group chat and the TeamSnap team will be sent to the cell phone number provided on your registration form.
